GETTING OVERCOMING STRENGTH IN OVERWHELMING MOMENTS.............

I don't know about you my friend, but, it's been a hard season for me.

I seem to be in the word , praying, seeking the lord for the many problems that arise each and everyday, but I still feel anxious, and actually overwhelmed so many times.

I am thinking of this new day the Lord has given : Psalms 118:24 and I know how much He loves me, I know He is with me, and I know that I have a home awaiting me in heaven. Hallelujah !!

So, why do I let these overwhelming moments get me down? I want to encourage you if you are feeling this way also. I want to give you what the Lord says is HIS STRENGTH.

Scripture says, "the joy of the Lord is my strength." Nehemiah 8:19 . This comes from when the children of Israel were returning to Jerusalem from exile, They were listening to the law being read, were overcome with condemnation, and were weeping.

Because, when Ezra was reading the law to the people their lives and behavior were not in alignment with the law. But instead of being rebuked and condemned, they were instructed to celebrate because of " the joy of the Lord:"

The strength that God provides us is with is HIS GRACE. God's joy is in the re-connection or union.

Have we lost our re-connection or union with our HOLY GOD? I think we have. He gave us certain laws to live by and to obey. We are all guilty of disobeying these. But thanks be to God He offers His abiding GRACE for us.

Just as our nation were given a set of laws and principles in the Constitution. They were GOOD words, meant for we the people. But, because we fail to obey them we have caused confusion and chaos in our nation.

Friends, I know it's hard as humans to see this, and because our thoughts are not God's thoughts, it makes it even harder. BUT, just know that God's AMAZING GRACE is with you, if you are His child by personal belief and trust in His son Jesus Christ as your sin forgiver. Then, therefore, there is no condemnation to those in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1.

Put your trust in the one that gives you strength in those overwhelming moments.
