When I ponder all the things going on in this Fallen World, I can't help but see how very hard it must be, to NOT have in this world, as we know it, BE WITHOUT JESUS. Every day as I go to my devotions to help me be ready for whatever this day will bring my way, I read scriptures that are comforting, peace filed and just what God wants me to read for the day.
I have had it said to me over the years, " This too shall pass". This is also a comfort, as no matter whom you are you will have many struggles come into your life. You have some that seem to never want to go away, but with Jesus as your guide, your sin redeemer, you will make it through.!
I love to say to myself in times likes these, " for I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be, compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us"
Romas 8: 18. KJV. Friend, if you have Jesus as your Savior, you have asked Him into your heart, He has forgiven ALL you sin, then, you can really glory in your tribulations. Sounds crazy huh? But that is what the scripture tells us. Romas 5:3 KJV Because out of that tribulation worketh patience; I have found in my life, as I wrote in my true story; My Christian Journey Through a Fallen World, that it was in those rough, struggling times that I found my strength increased, my endurance, and peace began to grow, yours will also.
So as I have said, " WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS." Is He your friend today? All our sins and griefs to bear, what a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer, what a peace we often forfeit, Oh, what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.
