Believing in God's plan for your life

As an author I know you can't expect bells, signs and wonders to show you that you're on the right track. But then the power of Satan is also strong. He loves to cause defeat in our journey.
I recently finally said to my heavenly Father, " Father if I am wanting any glory from this book, if I am looking at the sales, if I am wanting applause for myself, then please remove that from me. I turn this book totally over to you and ask you to do as you have ordained for this true story." May you get ALL the GLORY, may I know that you are in total control. Take my battle, give me peace" In Jesus name I pray.
Funny, how you pray that prayer, and it is real, then you think wow! things are not changing. Then you wait, wait, and wait some more. God has His time for ALL things.
So I will trust and obey, for there's no other way to be happy in Jesus , but to trust and obey.
