BRINGING YOU COMFORT...IN WAITING FOR YOUR HOPE

Updated: Apr 12, 2022

Friends, I would like to sit down with a cup of coffee and talk about all that's giving you troubles, struggles, pain, and tears, I would most likely be right there with you.

It's just the times we are now living keep closing in on us. We awake each day with what seems like another heartbreak. We ask out Lord, "When, Lord do you intervene in this chaos we all are facing?"

We know He is ever-present, and He does not let anything we are so concerned about causing a deferring of Him from His sovereign plan.

How does that let me bring you comfort in all this? It is like an anticipation of something that you know is going to happen, and therefore you can hang on with comfort. The comfort I want to give you.

I know you say, " but I'm hurting so badly, I don't think I can wait for what you say is my hope." So, I'm writing this because I know, that I know, our faith will bring us to this HOPE.

I am reflected on the Bible scripture that Paul talks about in 2 Corinthians 11:25, Three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned; thrice I suffered shipwreck, a night and day adrift in the deep. The apostle Paul went through a lot.

And he says in 2 Corinthians 4:9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed...persecuted, BUT, he, we, are never abandoned by God.

This may not be the HOPE you are waiting for in your present chaos, but the Hope I am giving you today is that "BLESSED HOPE". We are waiting for the HOPE of Christ's return. When I show you an empty cross, ( he died on that cross for your sins; He is gone from the cross ): buried in a tomb, (an empty tomb) Because He has Risen as He said.

Friends, because He conquered the cross, the tomb, and the ones that are His through trust in His shed blood, we will RISE also. I give you 1Thessalonians 4:16. The dead in Christ shall RISE first; we that remain shall be caught up to meet them in the air, so shall we ever be with the Lord. NOW THAT'S A HOPE I AM WAITING FOR. Empty Cross, Empty Tomb, millions come and are free at last from all our fears.

EASTER SUNDAY is our HOPE. I bring comfort to you as you await that HOPE.
