Let us consider something we may all have to look forward to;
Is yours, one more year I will graduate with my bachelor's degree, and I'll start my new career. Or. soon I will have this dreaded credit card paid off.
Whatever may be your something you're looking forward to, I'd like you to consider with me the final, finish of our lives.
When we as Christ believers will cast our crowns at the feet of Jesus, as the scriptures tell us will be one day. Revelations 4:10-11
We will do as the 24 elders, bow down before him who sits on the throne and worship him who lives, they lay their crowns before the throne and say; you are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will, they were created and have their being".
Have you thought about that, my friend? life has many ups and downs. Many hurts, many struggles. And there are also, rewards, happy pleasurable times. Like when you met your husband, you found real joy in the birth of your first child.
Seeing the sun come up after a long bed-confined sickness, or a beautiful moon lite sky hovering over the ocean at the beach.
But can I tell you there will be no greater reward than this one!
"Casting our crowns at the feet of Jesus the one that died for you and me. "
He left his home in glory walked this earth, was arrested, beaten, hung on that old rugged cross, and bled great drops of blood just so we would have a redeemer, a Savior that could take away our sins.
Regardless of what we endure on earth a priceless crown will seem like a paltry offering, but it will be the best gift we can give him, we will be so overcome with gratitude because of what he did for us.
Yes, someday we that know Christ as our own personal savior will have that great reward that we can look forward to; Casting our crowns at the feet of Jesus.
Don't you want that? Aren't you looking forward to that one day?
He is worthy, yes, so worthy, Jesus Christ my Lord. we bow down, we cast our crowns at the feet of Jesus.
